Driving on mountain access roads in New Zealand is tough. Generally they are dirt roads with few safety barriers. Winter conditions make them icy and dangerous. For greater safety, we use 4 wheel drive vehicles

Daily Service
(with closed day backup plan)

From June through to October, we operate every day that Mt Hutt is open. And, unlike any other provider, we have back up plans in place for the days the mountain can't open due to weather or other constraints. We have 3 alternative ski fields we can use and some great day trips available for when the mountain weather has completely closed in.

Door to Door Transport

Our service comes direct to your door. We cover all accommodation in Methven and tailor our pick ups to meet the demand on the day. Our small vehicle size means you'll spend less time getting driven around Methven than any other provider.

No transfers between vehicles

We believe that 'door to door' service means that you are delivered from the door we pick you up from, to the door you are carried to. The vehicle that picks you up in the morning is the vehicle that takes you to the mountain. We don't stop part way to put you in a bigger bus or make you wait in a queue to get home again. The same vehicle takes you home again and your seat is guaranteed for the day.

Departs Methven 8.05am and 12.00pm

Please be ready at 8.00am for an 8.05 departure.

With a door to door service there will be some variation in your pick up time but Methven is small enough that we usually have everyone within 10 minutes.

Our aim is to have you on the mountain by 9am and we take pride in consistently being the first Shuttle on the mountain each day.

Our 12pm departure runs subject to demand and availability.

All departures must be pre-booked to ensure availablity.

Leaves Mt Hutt 4pm

We ask all our guests to be back at their vehicle ready to leave at 4.00pm. This allows us to sneak off the mountain just ahead of the bigger buses that hold up traffic on the access road.

If weather conditions change during the day and the ski field closes early we leave as soon we get everyone one back to the vehicle. No queues, no waiting, your guaranteed seat is ready for you as soon as it is time to leave.

Connects with Christchurch Service

Make the most of your ski holiday and connect with our Christchurch Service.

This allows you to take in a full day of Skiing or Snowboarding on the same day that you transfer to Christchurch. Use any other service and you won't get more than a half day at best.

Your driver will ensure you connect with the correct vehicle once you are on the mountain.
